Our services are based
on trust, not legalese. Here are some common-sense things for you to
know about our tuneup.
1.
RISK There is always a risk
when updates are installed or programs are removed. We will work
carefully and our overriding goal will always be to do no harm - but
there is always the possibility that information will be lost. There are
no guarantees! Computers are far too unpredictable for that. You agree
to release and hold us harmless from any loss.
2.
SECURITY LogMeIn Rescue is secure
and makes no permanent change to your computer. We have no continuing
access to your computer after the work is done.
3.
PRIVACY Your privacy is an
important part of our business. We don't look, we don't judge, we don't
remember your private information.
4.
AUTHORIZED USER When you connect
us to a computer, you are
representing to us that you have responsibility for that computer and
you have authority to let us make changes to it.
5.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES There will be
hourly charges at $125/hour if our work goes beyond what's listed
on the front page. There won't be extra charges unless we've discussed
them in advance.
If you like, we're
ready to talk to you about setting up a backup
program, buying a notebook, using online services, installing new
software, or anything else that would be helpful! That's what we do for
a living, and we get paid for it.

only - sorry, Mac owners!Your computer has to be online, with
a DSL or cable Internet connection.
A PC Tuneup typically takes 2-3 hours to complete.
Downloading service packs and updates takes a long time!
You'll be on the phone with us at the beginning. Once work
has started, you don't need to be at the computer the whole
time.
