The latest virus making the rounds purports to arrive from “support@microsoft.com.” The file attachment contains a virus. It’s not from Microsoft.

You shouldn’t have to think about these.

If you are using Outlook 2000 with the security update, or Outlook 2002, the attachment will be blocked.

If your antivirus definitions are up to date, they will catch the virus.

So if you get the message and the file attachment in your mailbox, you should be thinking long and hard about changes in your computer habits.

In any case, you guys are smart enough not to open e-mail file attachments, right? I don’t want any phone calls this time!
