There have been a string of security breaches this year involving the theft of personal information stored by banks or other big companies.

The latest is the largest US banking security breach in history. A New Jersey cybercrime ring accessed bank account information for at least 676,000 people with consumer accounts at four New Jersey banks. Here’s a story about the breach.
